As far as I know glowfish are very very closely related to Zebra Danio (Brachydanio Rerio) which are omnivorous. Mine will happily eat topical fish flake food, freeze dried small shrimp that have been broken or crushed down to a size they can handle, algae pellets, and they seem to eat bits of algae off of my plants although this may just be them nipping at the plants themselves. They seem to eat as long as there is food to be eaten, and while they rush to the top of the tank when I put flakes or shrimp in, they will eventually start grazing on the food that has dropped to the bottom. They are not cleaner fish. They just eat till there is nothing left to eat. This is a note and a bit of a warning. I brought home an algae eater, and dropped an algae pellet in the tank for it which it basically ignored. That wasn't unexpected. The next day I check on my fish, and I have fat glowfish. Obviously bulgingly fat glowfish had been eating the algae pellet. They will eat as much as you give them to eat so be careful not to overfeed them. A good example I read was to try to think of the size of the fish's stomach and not feed them more than that twice a day, but that theory needs some refining. Use reason.

How do you breed glow fish?

Glow fish are Zebra Danios (Brachydanio rereio) that have had an extra gene from a jellyfish added artificially to make them glow. I do not know if their fry will carry the artificial "glow" gene ot not. In order to breed them you will have to follow the basic rules for breeding Danios.

How do you keep a bala shark that is layin at bottom aquarium a glofish and 2 danios healthy in a new aquarium?

You trasfer the shark and the glowfish to an established aquarium, and wait for the danios to help cycle the new tank until it's balanced, then you can put the others back in. If you're lucky, they may be able to withstand the cycling of the tank, but it will most likely shorten their lifespan.

Will a fire belly newt eat your glowfish and guppies?

Newts are Amphibians and should NEVER be kept with tropical fish or fish of any kind for that matter. Amphibians foul (poo and piddle) their water and breath air. Fish need pure clean water to breath. The fish will be killed by the foul water even if the newt doesn't bite them if you try to mix the two.
