Great whites (Carcharodon carcharias) caught the attention of humans, all around the world, after Steven Spielberg's movie «Jaws».
But I'm not so sure great whites are very popular among Australian surfers, swimmers, seals, dolphins, all kind of bony fish, squids, and many other marine animals (not to mention seabirds).
Even among other sharks, great whites are probably not very popular...
...they ate (with great pleasure) other sharks, and may even be cannibalistic (*) among their own species.
