They prefer glacial runoff because it is the purest and coldest drinking water. They don't like the bitter taste of saltwater. Bull sharks have been found in mass quantities underneath large icebergs, gleaning the fresh water as it melts from them. They have also been known to partake in a practice formerly referred to as "stargazing" on cloudy days, but scientist recently discovered that they are, in fact, drinking the rainwater as it falls into the ocean.

Bull sharks, Tiger sharks and even the deadly white shark inhabit lake mead. I have seen a 22 foot white shark right off the banks at lake mead. They eat the cows and pigs that fall into the water there. Be very careful while vacationing at lake mead. It could be your last.

Bull Sharks are apex predators. In their natural habitat, they have very few natural predators. Very few marine animals are large enough to actually hunt or kill a full grown bull shark. However, humans are the biggest enemies for these sharks. They have been hunted and killed indiscrimenately by humans for decades.
