We Muslim believe in the after life, whatever good deeds as well as evil deeds will get it rewards and punishment, there is a forgiveness at the grace of God if one repents sincerely if one has sins. (asking for forgiveness can be made directly and personally to Him, without any mediator like the Christians do)Before the afterlife for an individual can be divided into two phases,
1)after the demise of an individual 2)after the end of world
If one dies before the end of world one would undergo two phases, but if one not there is only one. for both phases there will be punishment as well as reward.
The gate of heaven and hell will only be opened after the end of world. Hence if one dies before the end of world one's sould shall wait in their graves. We believe that in the grave, good people will be rewarded and punished if not.
As you can see now, the soul does not ascends to heaven immediately to heaven after one dies according to our belief. There will be the day of Resurrection and that is the end of the world. This day, one soul would be weigh upon one deeds.
I refer to a chapter in the Quran that says, (Surah Al Zalzalah)
1)When earth is shaken with its final earthquake
2)And the earth discharges its burden
3)And man says, "What is wrong with it?"
4)That day, the earth will report it news
5)Because your LORD has commanded it
6)That day, the people will be separated into categories to be shown the results of their deeds.
7)So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it.
8)And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
We Muslims believe in hell and heaven as you christians but we also believe one's punishment of sins would not be eternal in hell if one has faith in God. Hence explaining if one wants to save oneself from the Fire, a faith in God is not suffice as it should be supplemented with good deeds in life as well as not making sins.
All Children of God (souls) would get the taste of heaven, it is only a matter of time, for God loves his children. Full of Grace and Merciful. But note that only the disbelievers will remain in Hell, that is, those who didnt want to accept Allah as one and only God, and Muhammad as the messenger of God. And for in the past centuries, those who didnt believe in Abraham/Moses/Jesus (only as a prophet, not God) and other remaining prophets, they will stay in Hell for eternity.
The Bible's AnswerThere is only one way to heaven. It is through faith in Jesus Christ, and that He was God and came to earth to die to pay for our sins. Romans 10:9 "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;"The way to hell is easy. Just sin once. Have you ever told a lie? Then you are well on your way to eternal condemnation. We all have sinned. Romans 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" And sin carries a punishment. Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." There are two kinds of death mentioned in the Bible. One is physical death, the other is separation from God. Sin separates us from God. But Jesus Christ paid for our sin on the cross. He lived a sinless life and sacrificed Himself for us. He alone pays the debt for our sin. 1 John 4:10 "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins." We need to repent from our sins, and we need to ask forgiveness from God. Christians DO NOT need a mediator to ask for forgiveness of sins. That's something that catholics do and it is un-Biblical, just like many other things that they teach. (I'm probably gonna catch some flak for that one.) 1 John 2:1-2 "My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world."
Now as for the dead body going to heaven, when we die our souls will go to heaven instantly. And our body will be joined later. I don't know as much as I should, but that is the basic. We will be judged for our works. They will be judged by fire. And anything that was worthless will just burn up. But the only way to heaven is through belief in Jesus Christ.
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."
NeverIsaiah 26:14 They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased they shall not riseJob 7:9 As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more.
Job 20:7 Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung.
Job 14:10. 12 But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he? ... So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep
they go to frog heaven and live with faries. the body turns into soil
Heaven!
When Adam decided to no longer live up to God's requirements, this is what God told him in Genesis 3: 19 " In the sweat of your forhead you will eat bread ( food) until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are and to dust you will return" Genesis 2: 7 shows that Adam was created out of dust from the ground. By the way, the root of the word " HUMAN " is dust. So the answer to your question is: "We return to dust " However the hope that the Bible teaches is " Our resurrection. Which literally means " a standing up again" and it refers to a rising up from death. John 5: 28,29 reads. " Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice ( the voice of Jesus ) and come out." Death is : The ceasing of all function of life. After breathing, heartbeat, and brain activity stop. the life-force gradually ceases to function in the body cells. Death is the opposite of life. God was able to create Adam from the dust from the ground. And when we die we return to dust. God is capable of using that same dust and remember what we looked like.
According to the Bible, anyone can go to heaven. A person will go to heaven if he or she believes that Jesus died from their sins and that he rose from the dead, and if they pray to him and ask him into their heart.
Evangelicals will go to heaven if they believe that Jesus came to the earth, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead.
The truth is we do not actually know that dead people go to heaven, or if there even is a heaven. Some believe that followers of their particular faith go to heaven, while non-believers do not. please click to see another answer
Heaven, Hell, Nirvana, Paradise, or Hades--
Not the physical body, but the soul and spiritual body does. It either goes to heaven or hell.
You assume that your body goes to heaven, as opposed to your spirit.
It says that when Christ comes the second time the dead in christ will then rise. And till then no one will go to heaven until the day of judgement.
Because Jesus Christ who brought dead people back to life, and who died on the cross and rose from the dead, frequently talked about life after dead as well as Heaven and Hell.
Well, it doesn't really make much sense, but I can answer "blessed are the dead who go to heaven".Välsignade är de döda som gå till himmelen.
