Clownfish (Amphiprion) is a genus of the Pomacentridae family. They will be found inhabiting coral reefs which are salt water based
When deep water waves approach water shallower than half their wavelength, they are transformed into shallow water waves. These waves have shorter wavelengths and slower speeds due to interacting with the sea floor, causing their amplitudes to increase as the water becomes shallower.
yes
Clownfish don't have a womb ! They lay eggs - which are fertilised by the male - and simply left to 'drift' in the water.
It all depends on the clownfish. If you were to add a third clownfish to a tank which already has two clownfish in it, then the original two won't be so friendly.Maroon clownfish(Amphiprion Melanopus) seem to be the most aggressive type of clownfish you can come across.Any clownfish can be friendly, and any clownfish can be friendly. It all depends on the personality of the specimen at hand.I personally have 7 clownfish in my aquariums. Two are very shy and skittish(Ocellaris clownfish---"Nemo"). Two are very friendly and will actually come up to the surface of the water and poke their heads out of the water when you come to feed them, and they'll eat out of your hand(Black ocellaris clownfish---"Black Nemo"). I have to baby maroon clowns that are not aggressive, but are too young to be aggressive. I also have a cinnamon clown that is very aggressive and one of my least favorite fish.
A pool of water appears shallower due to the optical phenomenon of refraction, where light bends as it passes from air into water. This bending causes objects submerged in the water to appear at a different depth than they actually are. Additionally, the angle of viewing and the clarity of the water can further distort the perception of depth, making the pool seem shallower than it really is.
Refraction tends to make objects submerged in water appear shallower than they really are. This is because light rays bend as they pass from water to air, causing objects to appear higher than their actual position.
