Surely "Why are Hermit Crabs bugs?"

My answer to that is that the definition for "bug" is a small, creeping invertebrate. Hermit Crabs are crustaceans, with an exoskeleton (an outer shell) instead of an inner skeleton, namely without a spinal cord, therefore invertebrate. But they only "creep" when submerged in water (when the tide comes in).

Apologies for not answering your question.

(Note: another definition for "bug" is to annoy constantly, and I can't see a Hermit Crab doing that.)
