It will be black because there may not be any green light reflecting the green apple so if theres no light then it will become black
When you look at a lamp through a green filter, the lamp will appear green if it emits green light or reflects green wavelengths. If the lamp emits other colors, such as red or blue, those colors will be filtered out, making the lamp appear dark or black, as the green filter only allows green wavelengths to pass through. Thus, the perceived color depends on the light source's color and the filter's properties.
It will look black, or green, depending on the hue of the red. A green filter blocks the red light but no red object is reflecting solely in the red wavelengths, and any non-red light will appear green through the filter.
A filter removes certain colors of light which pass through it. The primary colors of light are green red blue. Since the shirt absorbs all but blue light and the filter removes all but green it will appear black.
A green object appears black when viewed through a red filter (here a red filter means red light) because green object can only reflect green color and absorb all the other colors so in the red light it will definitely appear black.
A green object viewed through a blue filter would appear darker or black because the blue filter would absorb most of the green light, allowing very little to pass through. This lack of green light reaching our eyes makes the object appear darker and alters its color.
If light reflected from a white shirt passed through a red filter and then a green filter, the shirt would appear black. This is because red and green filters would absorb most of the colors from the white light, leaving very little to pass through. White light contains all colors of the spectrum, so when most of it is absorbed by the filters, the resulting color appears black.
Black, or nearly so. The apple reflects only green light, the red filter only lets red light through, so nothing reaches the eye.
A blue object would appear darker when viewed through a green filter because the green filter would absorb some of the blue light that the object reflects, resulting in a more subdued color.
To make green appear black, shine red light on it. Green absorbs red light, so when red light is shone on green, the green will appear black.
The tomato cell is not green because the tomato is not a vegetable.
While the ball would still be green it will appear black. Anything green absorbed all colours except green. The green light is reflected to your eyes which makes it look green. Thus in red light (with no green in it) the red will be absorbed and no green light can be reflected to your eyes so the ball will look black.
