YES!Only boys went to school. At school they learned how to be a scribe. To be a scribe you had to be at least 10 years old. while the boys went to school, the girls stayed home and learned skills from there mothers. =)
Egyptians believed that the body and soul were connected and that if the body was destroyed, so was the soul. In that same school of thought, they built pyramids as lavish tombs, placing great treasures within for the king to take with him to the afterlife.
