Here's a simple burger making technique:

1. Take a handful of raw ground beef and roll it into a ball.

2. Start smacking it flat, over and over between your palms, making sure it's nice and compact without a lot of air. Continue doing this until it doesn't fall apart.

3. Slap the burger onto a hot skillet or grill.

4. Sprinkle some seasoned salt and onion powder (or whatever seasons you like) on the burger.

5. Let it cook about 5 minutes on one side then flip it over and give it another 5 minutes. (Of course, this can vary depending on whether you like your burger rare, medium rare, well done, etc.)
