Guinness Carbonated Beef
Take some cube steaks and brown them in a frying pan. Saute onions with butter and add salt and pepper as necessary. (Val recommends a lot of onion to bring out the sweetness in the dish and because it blends in so well with the taste of the Guinness.) Put the onions on a roasting pan and cover with the beef steaks. Pour a bottle of Guinness over the beef. Put it into the oven at low heat (around 300 degrees) for about an hour and a half. Serve with potatoes, vegetables and cabbage.
