From what I learned in my science class we would always Put the decomposers at the very bottom but I don't know if that is correct.since a food web is many overlapping food chains that show how energy flows through an ecosystem I think that the producers should be at the very bottom. Sorry
Food web.
Mushrooms occupy the position of decomposers in the food web. They break down organic matter and recycle nutrients back into the ecosystem.

A food web consists of one part of a food web. For example a food web would be: Carrot- Rabbit- Fox- Worm/ Decomposer. A food web is multiple food webs together. The multiple food chains 'web' together forming a food web.
Feeding relationships in an ecosystem are both simplistic and complex at the same time. Green plants begin the relationship and are known as producers. Animals are known as consumers because they eat and process the green plants. Consumers can be primary or secondary and that can be broken down even further to tertiary and quaternary consumers.
When organisms die in food webs, they are broken down by decomposers like bacteria and fungi. These decomposers break down the organic matter into simpler nutrients which are then recycled back into the ecosystem, enriching the soil and making nutrients available for other organisms to use.
they are not in the food web
An aquatic food web is a food web that involves marine life.
no.
it is at the base of the food web
