Yes. At 36 weeks a baby is fully developed. He/she may be a little lighter than the majority of babies who are born. However, there should not be any problems.

Is 36 weeks the normal delivery?

No, 36 weeks is generally considered preterm for a pregnancy, as full-term delivery is typically between 37 and 42 weeks. Babies born at 36 weeks may require additional medical attention, as they might not be fully developed. However, some pregnancies may be safely delivered at 36 weeks if there are health concerns for the mother or baby. Always consult a healthcare provider for specific medical advice.

When will your labor start im at 38 weeks?

Generally, labor is not induced at 36 weeks, as the baby is still considered preterm An infant needs the additional time in the womb for lungs to be mature enough to breathe on the outside. Don't rush things. The baby will come when it is time. Good luck.

Is 36 weeks safe to go into labor?

A baby can survive outside the womb at 24 weeks (hospital staff consider it viable then, if it is before 24 weeks they will do nothing for your baby). The longer the baby stays in the womb the better it is for the baby, and the healthier the baby will be when it is born, generally any time after 36 weeks is considered full term & it is more than safe to deliver the baby. I am a Doula and have provided induction services, tips & techniques to many women to help them go into labor.....please contact me directly if you would like a list of things you can do to hopefully send yourself into labor, naturally (I would avoid drugs like Pitocin at all costs): www.myspace.com/APeaInThePodDoulaServices

Are baby born at 37 week healthy?

yes but the longer it stays in the more developed it will be their little lungs need the whole time to develop correctly or they may have to spend a while in the hospital like my daughter did. dont worry mine is now a healthy 17yr old Yes but not advised! My son was born at 35 weeks, in the country where I live (HK) once you go into labour after 34 weeks they do not try and stop it and they do not give you a steroid injection for the baby's lungs. My son spent a week in hospital after birth. He needed two days on a ventilater, to help with his breathing. He had a feeding tube for two days as his sucking reflex had yet to develop. He was jaundiced (common in premature and pre term babies). We were told the two biggest issues with babies born at 35 weeks is the breathing and feeding due to a lack of maturity with the lungs, and the lack of a sucking reflex. But he is now seven months old and happy and healthy. He weighed 2.5kg at birth which is a good weight for 35 weeks.
