The hamster in general does not see in color. Like dogs and cats, it sees in shades of gray. The hamster has poor eyesight, however, so it uses its whiskers to sense what is in front of it,(its sense of touch and feel) also its keen sense of smell.

They change from brownish to white in the winter and from white to brownish in the spring. Winter Whites change colors to "camouflauge" with their environment because long ago, these hamsters lived in very cold climates with a lot of snow.

I dont think so, but they dont have very good vision, the ones with the black/dark brown eyes can see much better than the ones with the red eyes (albino's)

some people say that Pearl is a "rare" colour that is not true there is no "rare" colour. Hope this helps x

A large variety, including: agouti, albino, argente, black and opal. Other varieties are blue, blue fawn, champagne, dove and lilac, but they're not as common.
