No, pretzels are not really a very healthy choice. Certainly, there are worse choices than pretzels, but they tend to have a good deal of salt and little nutritional value. They're also not good at keeping you full as a snack. Fruits and vegetables are much better options. Nuts such as almonds or pistachios make for an excellent snack as well.

Pretzels do contain a high-number of calories partially contributed to the butter they are dipped in. For a low-cal pretzel ask for no butter. At an Auntie Anne's it will take only seven minutes or less for one with no butter.

well yes and no because pretzels are made with dough. so that's healthy. but the salt on pretzels arent healthy so...... both ways......
