No, hamsters are solitary, and also omnivorous. A gerbil would run a great risk of being killed and eaten by the hamster.
Erm, I wouldn't recommend it...
Syrian Hamsters will kill and eat a gerbil, do not put them together in the same cage.
Sanitize the cage and get new bedding and the cage is good as new!
you put it in the same cage with a male hamster
NO. You can not put two different animals in the same cage! This is dangerous. They may fight and the hamster will probably not live. So unless you want a dead hamster, do not put them together.
No they will fight.
Unless the dwarf hamster was in the same litter, I would advise against it. If they are not in the same litter, and you'd like to see if they get along, first put them in a neutral cage. Otherwise the hamster may feel that another male is trying to take over its territory.
no
I think so because I keep my hamster in the same cage I kept my last hamster in. I dont know for sure so ask a proffesional
NEVER put the new hamster in the same cage, with same stuff! BOIL the toys, cage, in warm, soapy water for 30 minutes! If you don't you are most likely to have another sick/dead hamster :( The disease might remain in the same cage where the sick hamster may have touched, nibbled or made any contact with. Stay safe!
yes, mine are both in the same cage
No teddy hamsters and dwarf hamsters cant stay together
