I would advise against this. Hamsters are very territorial. I have heard stories of hamsters who immediately attacked a mouse or rat when they met.
I Hope I Helped <3! u can check out my board
NO. You can not put two different animals in the same cage! This is dangerous. They may fight and the hamster will probably not live. So unless you want a dead hamster, do not put them together.
NO! They ARE in the rodent family, but they arent the same, and you should NEVER put them together!
a rat.
I had a 3 month old rat together with my hamster and the rat attacked my hamster, leaving my hamster with a bloody ear. it really depends on the rat's personality along with the hamster. My hamster was pretty lax about being with the rat but rats can be violent depending on how they were raised, and you can't know for sure how it was raised if you got it from a friend or a pet store.
they can but you would rather not because they would fight alot
No, you can't.
No, you can't.
From what I have read, Rats eat mice, so I wouldn't recommend putting the two together!
Probably a rat, its much bigger and stronger the hamster would be VERY hurt! :(
It might depend on what type of rat it is or where did came from or is it vicious.
Yes, they can pits like bigger animals and tougher meat. There for the pit and the hamster can live together. If you take your hamster out and put it in to a ball then don't let the pit near it or keep a close eye on it.
mourn the loss of your hamster.
