Sure, but I wouldn't feed it to them. Babies need alot of protein and fat to grow (just like a human baby). Grown chickens, on the other hand just LOVE watermellon. In fact, they'll eat ANYTHING. Remember, though, they don't have teeth. So, whatever they eat has to be in small enough pieces to get down their gullet.
They trow up in the chicks mouth.
yes, mine ate ther flesh of a watermelon, but not the rind. (skin)
yes
Chicks (as in baby chickens) will eat grain, insects, grass, anything that they see their mother pecking at.
No, baby rabbits can't eat any fruit -- especially one as sugary and water as watermelon. See the related question below for more info about the baby rabbit diet.
Chicks hatch and know instinctively what to eat. Brood hens do not teach or feed the chicks.
eat watermelon
you must feed them a llot so you can eat them.....
Of course you can. If you are breast feeding, some foods the mother eats can give the baby gas, but watermelon should be fine- it is a rather healthy food, in fact.
Baby chicks can eat bread but it must be torn into small pieces
The mother bird eats a worm and regurgitates the processed worm for the chicks to eat.
galahs can eat watermelon and watermelon skin!!
