no goldfish cant be kept with tropical..the water conditions are not suitable temp, bacteria etc..i have tried it before and it wasnt a success....theres cold water and tropical fish for a reason.....also another reason is that goldfish may seem to accept the warm water but after a couple of weeks you will have a death or a malformation in your tank...hope this helps
