Yes, most likely when a mother has babies.Only some others like older ones are just aggressive. So make sure if you want 2 in one cage make sure they are social and are a non-aggressive species.

When you have baby hamsters with a mother it is best for you to not touch them. Your smell will stick to the baby hamsters. The mother will become frightened and will attack the baby hamsters if necessary. Some of the weaklings will get eaten too.

Yes, if you put 2 syrian hamsters (Both male or both female or male and female) they often fight each other to the death.

This however doesnt often happen with dwarf hamsters.

If you put 2 syrian hamsters together they weill fight. Hamsters like to live alone.

First, I believe you meant "What happens when a hamster EATS another hamster?" but it's not a big deal. Anyway, when a hamster EATS another hamster, you should clean the cage very very thoroughly and (sadly) throw the dead hamster right away because it could start an infection inside the cage which will reach the other hamsters and kill them from infectious sicknesses. After that, depending on how many hamsters you have, separate ALL OF THEM because one of them could eat another. Also, you probably haven't been feeding them much because they are SO hungry, they are literally starving, they EAT their best friends.
