Absolutely, navy beans (or any other kind of beans) can spoil by soaking in water too long. I personally wouldn't soak them much longer than 24 hours, perhaps a few more hours than that. Once the beans have soaked long enough to soften, they are subject to bacteria and germs like any other soft food, and depending on how much water is left after they've been soaking, they could either germinate or rot, neither of which is desirable if you wanted to cook them.
Soaking them too long, probably.
Fresh green beans are typically good for about 5-7 days when stored in the refrigerator before they start to spoil.
Yes. It takes a long time for bacteria to form on this product. It will spoil if left out of the refrigerator. It will dry out if left uncovered.
It can grow mold if it is left unrefrigerated for a long time. But it is unlikely to spoil otherwise.
Soaking pinto beans before you cook them speeds up cookign time and allows some of the gas to escape. When soaking beans the water should be change the water several time, or when it begins to turn dark.

Only if it is left out a long time to ferment or spoil.
Many dried beans must be soaked overnight in cold water prior to cooking. After soaking, the beans can be cooked in boiling water. If the beans fall apart, you are cooking them too long.
For optimal results, you can soak beans for 8-12 hours. Soaking them for 2 days is not recommended as it can lead to the beans becoming mushy and losing their texture.
Only if the beans were left in a body of water for a long time. However mold does grow on beans.

Cooked pinto beans can spoil or sour if not stored properly. If left at room temperature for too long, they can develop harmful bacteria, leading to an off smell or taste. To prevent this, store cooked beans in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where they can last for about 3 to 5 days. Always check for signs of spoilage before consuming.
