A important thing is to NEVER wash your hamster. That is one of the reasons why hamsters catch colds. Never handle a hamster when you have a cold. It could catch it from you.
You can also give it some lukewarm milk mixed with water. The lukewarm milk should be changed every three hours or three times a day for two days, or until your hamster is recovered from it's cold.
Put your hamster in a draught free warm room. Give it soft foods. Like give it cod-liver on bread (whole grain or wheat)
