Im not quite sure why your asking this question...But if the reason being is, the u/s didnt show the kidneys. It is not because they are not there. And it is only due to the technology of the u/s machine or the tech her/himself. I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and around my 20th week u/s the tech said she could not see the kidneys but not to worry because this exact case comes along everyday. The kidneys are just too small at this point. and Sure enough at my next u/s which probably was around 24 weeks there were the kidneys. Good Luck I hope this answer helped
