Yes, you can cut off the top of a holly tree without causing harm as long as you do it properly and at the right time of year.
To slice avocado for sushi, first cut the avocado in half lengthwise and remove the pit. Then, carefully peel the skin off each half. Place the avocado flat side down and slice it into thin, even pieces. These slices can be used to top sushi rolls or nigiri.
No, cutting the top off a money tree can harm its growth and prosperity as it may disrupt its ability to photosynthesize and produce energy.
It'll look a bit weird, but yes. But its normally best to cut off the bottom.
Yes, if you wait until time starts going back, then the sap will be down, and you can top it then with out killing it. be sure to cut at a diagonal, so the rain will run off your fresh cuts, and not start holes into the tree itself, there for damaging the tree. Joy Co- Owner of Camp Tree Service
Can I cut the branches on a money tree?
Because the top is only part of the tree. The rest of the tree, like an iceburg, is out of sight under ground. The roots supply the top of the tree with water. The leaves in the top of the tree convert light and water into the energy the tree needs to survive. So the tree tries to live on after the top is cut off, and will if left on it's own to heal (regrow).
of what..... where????
To plant an avocado seed, remove it from the fruit and wash off any remaining flesh. Insert toothpicks into the seed to suspend it over a glass of water, with the bottom half submerged. Place the glass in a warm, sunny spot and change the water regularly. Once roots and a stem appear, transplant the seed into a pot with well-draining soil, leaving the top half exposed. Water regularly and provide sunlight to help it grow into an avocado tree.

For YOUR safety the conifer should be cut down in sections. Individual limbs to get access to the trunk then 'top' the tree, cut off the top section. Afterwards you can work your way down.
