No, you shouldn't introduce solids to your baby until he or she is between four and six months old. Until then breast milk or formula provides all the nutrition your baby needs.
That's not entirely true. No two babies are exactly alike. My doctor has my daughter starting solid foods at 3 months. She is also teething and two months ahead of her peers. You have your doctor for a reason. If you did not trust him/her you would not entrust your child's health to them.
For the first couple of weeks your puppy should drink it mothers milk then liquid or mashed puppy food. So yes you can feed a 10 week old puppy regular baby formula.
