No. Hamsters are solitary creatures. They prefer to be the only hamster in the cage. They want their own territory for themselves. If you put two mature hamsters together, they will fight to the death.
Brambleclaw lover17703,
The only two times you should put two hamsters together in a cage is when you breed a female and a male ( but you should take them out after except for some breeds they need to stay with eachother a bit longer) and when the female is taking care of her babies. But she might eat them the first time and seperate them after 3-4 weeks. Otherwise she will eat them!
Yes they will. Hamsters and gerbils are solitary creatures and they wil fight if they feel that someone else is in their territory.
yes they do
No teddy hamsters and dwarf hamsters cant stay together
No, syrian hamsters are solitary, and will fight if put together.
bro what i guess
Syrian Hamsters will kill and eat a gerbil, do not put them together in the same cage.
Yes but u would have to get them at the same age and from the same family of gerbils
if they were raised together like brothers or sisters
Hamster and gerbils do not have different food the eat the same food and love the same treats.
Usually, if they are introduced to each other, you can put dwarf hamsters together. If the hamsters fight, they must be separated. Avoid separating ones that have been together for a long time (they might have symptoms similar to depression).Syrian hamster can't be put together. They are extremely territorial and will fight.
I usaually stick them in the same cage over night to make it faster!
No! Never introduce two random hamsters to one and other, especially in the same cage! They will get hostile and vicious, and one will end up being killed. Two random hamsters + being put in the same cage = recipe for a major catastrophe!
