You can put 2 females in or a female and a male but never put to males in the same bowl. They will fight.
No, male Beta fish should never be put in the same bowl or tank. They are aggressive fighting fish. That's why in the pet store, they are always separated in one bowl. Good Luck!
they can but first you need to put them in the same bowl and watch if they fight or if they dont. if they dont then you can put them in the same bowl.
No, they will still fight unless you are breeding them, (breeding Betas is complicated). However three or four females can coexist quite comfortably. Betas don't fight with other fish, so you can put a male or a female in a community-style tank.
no cause betas are territorial creatures and are not supposed to be with any other fish. so Ive heard
Depends on the type of fish you plan to put together. For instance, beta fish prefer to be alone.
Frogs are carnivorous. I wouldn't put a small fish in the same bowl with a frog, unless I was prepared to buy more fish on a regular basis.
First get a bucket of water, and put the same volume as is in the bowl in the bucket. Let the bucket sit over night, and put water conditioner in it. Net the fish out of the bowl, and put it in the bucket with the new water. Rinse the bowl out, and sponge the inside to remove any algae. Clean, and put back the gravel and ornaments. Pour the water and fish back into the clean bowl. DONT USE SOAP.
to change your betas water, you have to prepare water 24 hours before. you fill up a gallon of water and put a thing called Prime. Then you shake it up. in 24 hours, take the beta out of the bowl or whatever it is in. Usually i put mine in a cup. rinse the old water out and rinse the bowl or whatever it is. Pour the new water in and you have a clean bowl or whatever.
all you have to do to tame your beta fish so that it does not attack other fish in the same tank is put mirrors on the outside of what ever bowl it's in. then it can get used to itself and learn to not be threatened by other fish. wait about a week with the mirrors on the sides of its bowl and then you can put another fish in it's bowl. i have done it and it works trust me it's amazing.
No
it depends how big the hermit crab is or the fish bowl
you get a net to take out the fish and put it in a container while you're cleaning the bowl and put the fish back in when your done :) hope I helped :)
