Persistent organic pollutants stay in the environment for long periods of time. They also are easily spread, by water and wind. And they can pass from one life form to another, all up and down the food chain. So their effects are not only long-lasting, but also widespread. For they can end up way far away from where they were originally used. The most common, and most lethal, are known as the dirty dozen. The dirty dozen have had great appeal, at different times. For they have tended to be part of products that get the job done [such as insecticidces] or key players in industry. So aldrin, chlordane, DDT, dieldrin, endrin, heptachlor, mirex, and toxaphene have been spread by the rampant use of insecticides. Hexachlorobenzene has been spread through fungicide treatments of seeds. Like PCBs, it has also been spread industrially. It's necessary to the making of ammunition, fireworks, and synthetic rubber. PCBs are integral to electrical capacitors and Transformers. Like dioxins and furans, hexachlorobenzene and PCBs also are produced anytime there is a burn.
There are many different types of pollution in China. They include: Waste, Electronic Waste, Industrial Pollution, Water Pollution, Air Pollution, Particulates, Lead, Persistent Organic Pollutants.
There are many types of pollutants, and they are classified by the parts of the environment they pollute. The most common are water pollutants and air pollutants.

Different types of pollution in the troposphere, such as particulate matter, nitrogen oxides, and volatile organic compounds, can severely impact human health. Fine particulate matter can penetrate deep into the lungs, leading to respiratory issues and cardiovascular diseases. Ozone at ground level can exacerbate asthma and other respiratory conditions, while chemical pollutants can cause neurological damage and increase the risk of cancer. Collectively, these pollutants can lead to higher morbidity and mortality rates in affected populations.
Pollutants can be categorized into several types, including chemical pollutants, which encompass harmful substances like heavy metals and pesticides; biological pollutants, such as bacteria and viruses; and physical pollutants, which include noise and radiation. Air pollutants, such as particulate matter and carbon monoxide, significantly affect air quality, while water pollutants, like nitrates and plastics, contaminate aquatic ecosystems. Soil pollutants, including fertilizers and industrial waste, degrade land quality and can harm food sources. Each type poses unique risks to environmental and human health.

Secondary pollutants. Secondary pollutants are pollutants caused by man. Which consider smog, chemical pollution,ect.. Primary pollutants. primary pollutants are pollutants that are caused by nature. Volcano's eruptions etc. pollution can be caused in the air water sound and any where in the environment
