Do betta fish blink

Betta fish have a wonderfull varity of sharp teeth in the front to eat and to bite to protect its self and a place in the back to keep there babys eggs. and yes my betta fish bites anyting else but me and things in its fish tank because its used to me but if you get a betta fish i strongly suggest that you don't put your finger in its tank until its like almost 4 months in your care

No no Yes, they actually can. I would not imagine it is very common, but if you stick your finger in your Betta's tank they could bite you. I'm not saying they will for sure, though.

I HOPE I DON'T GET SOME KIND OF EXOTIC INFECTION.LOL Yes they bite. once i started playing with my fish a lot id taught him to jump to get his food and stuff... but now if i put my finger right at his water level then he'll go up and bite my finger. his mouth isn't really big enough to hurt you usually, but my beta is still young and growing.

However, the are a few that have a nictitating membrane (also called the third eyelid) that they "blink". This "third eyelid" is used to protect the eyes.
