The white hairy mold that grows on grapes is typically botrytis cinerea, also known as noble rot. It is a beneficial fungus that can enhance the flavor and sweetness of the grapes in certain winemaking processes, such as for the production of sweet dessert wines like Sauternes.
First question is "Why are you doing the project?" I am guessing that you are doing a science fair project. A question could be: How long does it take for fresh green grapes to begin molding? Or you could buy fresh grapes, split the bunch in half and store one half in the refrigerator and one half on the kitchen counter. Allow the grapes to mold and compare the number of days required for the grapes to grow mold. This study could be titled "How much longer do grapes remain free of mold if they are refrigerated rather than left at room temperature?"
it depends on how long you leave it out for the faster it molds is the longer you leave it . :):)
inside because the oxygen gets trapped inside the bag causing the grapes to decay faster instead of it in the refrigerator
no they are not safe you could just throw it up more serious stuff
The strawberry will mold faster than the grape, I don't know why exactly, but I just know it does.
Molding grapes typically refers to the process of fermentation in winemaking, which can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks, depending on the desired style and method. After fermentation, aging can take additional weeks to years, depending on the wine type. If you mean physically molding grapes into a shape or form, it generally takes only a few hours to a day for the mold to set, depending on the materials used.
Until the mold has consumed all of the bread and all you are left with is the mold.
all grapes are bad for dogs!
mold does basically grow on all foods
I think it's mold. I just saw this today on the wild grapes out in the backyard, and we just had a lot of rain... so it makes sense. It looks like mold to me so I'm cutting out all the bad ones so the rest can make it.
