Hamsters may lose 1-2 teeth but shouldn't do really!! As hamsters only have 3 teeth ... they could grow back!! But it's very unhealthy for a hamster ... I would see a vet

No, chewing on the hamsters cage will not give it brain damage. All the hamsters I have owned have chewed on the bars and not got it. Hamsters chew on the bars for fun and it helps their teeth.

Actually that is very wrong. When a hamster bites and chews the bars it means that the hamster is highly stressted and it can be caused by small cages, not enough chew toys and play toys to stimulate their brain. This can also lead to death by stress if caused longer so I strongly reccomend adding more toys and changing your hamsters cage to an aquariam, ikea detolf, or bin cage if you want your hamster to live a long, healthy and happy life.

No, the teeth only go through there gums and in the gum molecules ( white stuff) are caught in there and form a tooth .
