I have had so many debates on this issue. I have personally watched goldfish nip at fins of other goldfish, heads of orandas and even the tail of a freshwater stingray (don't ask). So yes, they are nippers.
Goldfish do not have legs. Goldfish do have fins, although the number of fins will depend on the type of goldfish.
a goldfish uses his/her fins for direction when it swims.

Male bettas generally go well with other fish, just not another male betta. Although they can be quite aggressive and territorial and you may find it will eat the fins and tail of your goldfish!
A goldfish has about 1,500 bones inside of it.
no they don't loose there fins if they do they die.
Well goldfish move their fins of course.
The males usually have longer pectoral fins, with firmer stomachs, and the females have shorter pectoral fins with soft abdomens. Females also have a tendency to be larger than the males. Male goldfish also develop white spots on their gills. the males anal opening is also smaller and more round than the females.
The fins develop on a goldfish fry after about a couple days after they are hatched. Until then, they are not free swimming and look like a tadpole.
