Sometimes they do but it is only when the turtles dislike eachother. You know if your turtles do not like eachother by them staying away from eachother and if you put them together and they run away from eachother.
Its like asking why cheerleaders stack on top of each other. They do it for fun and entertainment. So do the turtles. Then again it depends on the number,, two or three turtles could mean something else. Just look into it if they are your turtles stacking on top of each other. Hope this helps,, xx
If two turtles like each other they will not get in fights and you will also be able to tell by how they act around each other.
Yes you could if they get along. Put them together and watch them if they don't fight each other than leave them their. That is if you don't mine have some baby turtles. Geckomaster

Yes. Animals can communicate to each other by sonar, smell, and distinct noises they make.
For one thing, the turtles have a shell for protection from predators. Another thing is that not all animals use a form of cannibalism, the turtle being one of them. Not completely correct. Although "fellow" turtles are not part of their regular diet, turtles can fight and be aggressive with each other, snapping and biting at heads and limbs. There have been accounts of limbs and eyes being lost. Obviously, they can't eat through the shell. But they are omnivores and meat is meat.
a sport in which two people fight each other
