The thing about unicorns as pets...The main problem with having a unicorn as a pet is that they are just like a horse, only with a horn, which makes them a formidable opponent when they are angered. My aunt was gored by her adored pet unicorn, Mr. Fluffydoodles, when i was just a young boy, which perhaps was caused by his resentment of his stupid name. Another issue with keeping unicorns as pets is that they are smarter than your average three-year-old, so they often begin to get angry at their extended imprisonment and look for ways to escape. However, if you can get them to love you, they will be quite happy in the family home. Another thing to consider is that unicorns are big, so they're hard to keep in the house, but if you put them in an ordinary stable they can be stolen by jealous people who wish to have their very own unicorns. Keeping them in the backyard is a viable solution to this problem - however, be sure to look up the rules for the keeping of exotic livestock in your town. And whatever you do, DON'T name your unicorn something humiliating and demeaning. It'll gore you. I promise.
