No, it doesn't. The only point of creaming is to get the sugar to start dissolving in the butter or shortening. Even a spoon will work but it takes a bit longer.
Usually, when creaming items such as butter and sugar, only a bowl and spoon is needed. Microwave butter for 10 seconds at a time, stirring in between with a spoon or spatula. When butter is at desired consistency (about the same consistency as frosting), add the the sugar and stir until well blended. You can use an electric hand mixer too when stirring in the sugar, but it's not necessary. Hope this helps :) I know how frustrating creaming ingredients can be!
Talking drums were played with the palms of the hand and beaters were not used. Some other variations of traditional drum have curved beaters. the reason for this is that when the drum is played while it is carried, the playing surface (or head) is too high to use straight beaters or sticks. Hence the curved beaters.

The beaters hit a ball call the bludger. The bludger is charmed so that it moves on its own and it is the beaters job to keep it away from their teammates.

The type of material you use for the project doesn't matter; what truly counts is how well you execute it.
