Lettuce generally decays faster than cabbage.

IS THERE IRON IN LETTUCE? No there isn't iron in brown lettuce because it is rotten. When it is rotten the iron appears to escape from the lettuce because the lettuce is no longer fresh enough to eat.

No. Outside of the refrigerator is warmer than inside.
Yes Because the sugar in the banana reacts faster than the acid in an apple.
No.You should only give them ripe banana's but not green ones they can also eat apples but remember nothing rotten but do not consider slimy lettuce you know the green and purple lettuce in the bag you can get at the Sweetbay and Publix and places like that that is ok just the purple lettuce is slimy they can eat that they love that but just you dont eat it and be careful picking up the purple chunks they are slimy and it will rub of on your hands and it feels nasty. But no you can not give them rotten banana's.just give them ripe but not green.
Yes you can, but don't do it with hot water. The iceberg lettuce can actually go bad faster by washing it with hot water.
Yes. I ate some yesterday on a sandwich and I was sick all night. The bacteria on the rotten lettuce will cause irritation which will show itself either orally or rectally, sometimes both. Never tolerate this on food. Scraping it off is not the answer. Always look at the insides of a sandwich before eating it. This was the lesson I learned yesterday.
If it's clean and not rotten or fairly old, no not at all it's actually very healthy for them and recommended as a treat.
