- preparation of sodium, chlorine, sodium hydroxide, hydrogen
- roads deicing
- soaps fabrication
- salts baths
- isotonic solutions - sodium is indispensable for life
etc.Today is considered that a daily intake greater than 2,5-5 g salt can be danderous for the heart.
