Take peanut butter, crest toothpaste and coke then mix the peanut butter with the toothpaste and rub it on the scratch and then let it soak in the coke for 20 minutes and it should work. Oh and if your hungry the toothpaste, peanut butter and coke taste really good together.
Toothpaste has a fine grit that will actually scratch your disk even more. I've found that the best way to fix small scratches is with peanut butter. You use a small amount of creamy (not chunky-you don't want chunks of peanuts) peanut butter, wiping it on the disk in one direction. Then, you use a clean rag to wipe the peanut butter off, in the opposite direction. It works quite well.
as weird as this may sound, peanut butter can help here. I have only tried this once to no avail but i have heard it work before. using your fingers, scoop out a bit of peanut butter from the jar then push it onto the CD in a circular motion. put the dick on a flat surface then smear the peanut butter around in a circular motion until it is rubbed in well. wipe off the excess with a dry paper towel or napkin, again in a circular motion. made sure there is no excess on the disk and keep wiping until there is no smears. a microfiber cloth can be used to polish it well. now put it in the CD drive and hope it works. this isn't a permanent solution but it may allow you to boot it so you can move the files off the disk. good luck!
You can disconnect the battery. Then connect it back, use your secret code and it should work again.
