Was started by two university students from Pietermaritzburg in 1991. They were Craig McKenzie and Andrew Harvey. The first pizzas were created using the baking ovens of the Spar at the end of Commercial road near Town Hill. After the business started getting known locally, a purpose built shop was opened, slightly fartehr up Commercial road towards the centre of town and next to a bar called Da Vinci's. I know this because I was one of the first drivers for them. They were both great guys although I believe Craig was killed after they sold their first franchise (I believe somewhere in Durban).
