How do hamsters act before they die?

i think they might be very sick depending if it dies because it is sick or because it is too old. but keep track of how old your pet is. and monitor your pet if it is quite old

They will usually be very sleepy and lazy. If you hamster is always like this than it would be harder to tell but all the hamsters I've had were very alert, playful ,and energetic. Also if the hamster isn't drinking very much water and not eating a lot these are most likely other signs. I hope I helped! :)
