You could use a lot of different kinds of spices that you would normally have in a spice cabinet, such as salt, any kind of spice or herb (but smell them first if you normally don't work with them because the smell is usually a lot like the flavor), or any kind of REALLY GOOD SAUCE that you think would be good on them. Just lightly season them, or if you want to use sauce, put the meatballs in a saucepan with the sauce (just enough sauce to cover them about half way) and stir them into the sauce on low heat for about 5 minutes. Or if you don't want to do that, then Cheese is also a very good option. Just sprinkle some cheese on them and melt it on them in the microwave, and when they are done, sprinkle some herbs on them.
