It is pretty hard to tell. Wait until they get older then see which ones have longer fins, and shorter fins.
Your betta fish is a female if she has smaller fins than an average male.
Male betta fish are really colorful and generally larger. Female betta fish are clear colored and small. Male betta fish are probably the easiest to find as well.
Boys have more colors than girls....THE PRETTIER ONE
The female will do something with her fins and let the male know but when they do mat you have to be right there when it does because the male will kill the female but not the eggs. when the eggs hatch you have to take the male out or he will kill the baby's.
i dont exactly know. But females have short short tails.
The males are the colorful ones with the fancy tails. No fancy tail, you have a female, they are dull and usually a brown color.
The eggs will be in the tank and if the dad's in the tank take the mom out.If the dad isn't in the tank take the mom out and put the dad in.
yes after mating a female will be tired and hungry and if the male does not run her away she may eat the eggs for energy.
Hi. You can get to know your betta by examining what they do and how they react to things.
A male beta fish blows a lot of bubbles. so if there are a ton of bubbles at the top of the bowl or tank, your fish is most likely a boy.
A Male Betta will grow to about 2.5inches of body length and a Female will grow to about 2 inches of body length. A Betta is fully grown at about 6 to 8 months a Betta is very old at 30 to 36 months.
If you have a betta fish food, and have a picture on it, it's probabily male fish. They are prettier and have longer finns. (Kinda like gold fish with long finns exept different color) The female bettas has shorter finns and are uglier, and I don't know why...Well.. male beta fish are more colorful like red and blue. And female beta fish are more whitish pink maybe with a few black spotsall i can say is male betas are colorful and females are more dull
