If you live somewhere, where it's early warm... without frozen days, put the seed in the soil. Make sure it will have enough space for growing. Let it grow and in summertime you will have melons. If you live somewhere like I do ( Germany ) you have to put the seed into the soil at home, plant the little plant outside as soon as it's getting warmer. The melon might not have enough time to ripe properly, when there are not enough sunny days.
