The price of basil per acre can vary significantly based on factors such as location, farming practices, and market demand. On average, basil can yield between 10,000 to 20,000 pounds per acre, with wholesale prices ranging from $2 to $5 per pound. This means that an acre of basil could potentially generate between $20,000 to $100,000, depending on the quality and market conditions. However, these figures are subject to change and should be verified with current market data.
In general it means that you are bringing an old thread/post back for discussion, it can also mean that you keep posting, not giving other members a chance to post a reply. Basically, it means, that you are trying to get members attention to your thread/post.
The value of 6 basil leaves is typically minimal, often just a few cents in a grocery store or market. If you're growing your own basil, the cost is essentially negligible. In recipes, 6 basil leaves are usually used for flavoring rather than as a significant ingredient.
