Theres not a lot you can do. However, one idea is too leave a lot of strong smelling food around. This might encourage him to come to the food were you will find him. Keep searching around. Good luck :)

YOUR WELCOME :D
reach your hand into the cage and they might come to you and if you put food on your hand they will definatly come if they see you and if you ar still. when it becomes a bit more tame you could just grab it gentally
if a hamster is biting you then u should try to give it its favorite food and the reason why he is biting his or her cage is that it wants out let it run around on a piece of paper or try to get chewys and they will stop
Most likely the cage is too small. Small cages are not healthy. you should at least give your hamster 450 square inches of floorspace, a big enough wheel(not wired or mesh), at least 6 inches of bedding, and a healthy diet.
Metal cage? It would probably help a lot. also take her to the vet in case she swallowed any plastic.
Remove the plastic from its cage. Use metal or glass. Make sure there is an exercise wheel in the cage and that the location where you keep it is not loud or busy.
Give it something else to chew on. They have to chew on something to wear down their teeth. Small wooden blocks or toys made for them should keep them from chewing on the cage.
