The skin of carrots were originally yellow. They were bred to have orange skin. I think its due to a lack of moisture. The older a carrot is the drier it seems to be.
they are healthy for your skin but if you eat to much you can turn yellow-orange
When someone consumes too much beta-carotene, a pigment found in certain foods like carrots, their skin can turn yellow. This condition is called carotenemia and is usually harmless, but it can be mistaken for jaundice.
An over access of beta carotene in your system can cause the skin to change color, but you would have to be eating a lot of carrots. yea, if you eat an excessive amount. and that is a lot of carrots, i eat about 3 each day and that is fine. NOTE: they turn your skin ORANGE not yellow :p Once again i disagree carrots cannot change the skin color of the human being the carrot cannot put an effection like that on the human body function it isn't strong enough because the carrot can only travel to the digestive system which only destroy the carrot completely
if you eat WAY to many carrots your skin CAN turn orange
Your skin can turn orange by eating carrots if you have eaten over the daily recommended value. Your body can no longer absorb/store the vitamin A from the carrots and it shows up in your skin.
Beta-carotene is a yellow pigment derived from food, such as carrots, sweet potatoes, and squash, that can sometimes color the skin. Consuming large amounts of foods rich in beta-carotene can give the skin a yellow-orange hue, particularly in areas with high levels of sun exposure.
Carrots eaten in excess may turn your skin an orange-ish shade, but they will not make you tan.
i only know 1.....=skin starts to turn orange!?!?!!?!?=
jaundice
a smoker's teeth are yellow. - skin is yellow-ish - finger tips turn yellow. - if their breaths stink..
Depends if the yellow people have some sort of skin disease, which is transferable then it is possible.
