How find a lost hamster in your house?

This sounds odd. But put a bucket in the middle of the room with a little food in it. I heard of a story where the hamsters got loose in the basement, increased in number and could not be found. Someone left a bucket down there and voila! Hamsters.

Put some food and tiny little peices of apple down in a bowl in every room and watch to see if the hamster goes for the food because it would be hungry (the apple has a sweet smell so the hamster would pick the sent up) also you could put some in a bag and either hang it on your door handle or on the floor and the hamster might move the bag and you would hear it so then you could go and catch your hamster that way!

well..you need a small garbage can a piece of wood and peanut butter.put the garbage can close to where his cage is . Lean the wood on the little gabage can.(it needs to be flat but not too flat about an inch) Put some peanut butter on the wood and into the cage.And your hamster just might come back.If that doesn't work i don't know what else.

To catch a lost hamster put the cage in the middle of the room where the cage is usually kept, and put a piece of food in there. Leave for an hour or two or more if possible, and you should find your hamster sound asleep(hopefully).

Here are some ideas. First, you have to be really quiet. Wait until you hear noises, like shuffling, scratching, squeaking or the such. Take a small flashlight or something and look around places like sofas, couches, chairs, and little corners. After that, (if you still can't find your hamster) get your hamster's absolute favorite food. Leave it there and hide in a close place and just wait. Put multiple spots of food for better luck. The last resort is to buy a non poisonous rat trap. The one I used to catch my hamster is just a trap that closes in the back when something goes through the door. It will hurt your hamster if it's fat, so this tip is mostly for dwarf hamsters or small-ish Syrians and teddy bears. Leave it there, and dab some peanut butter on the trap. Then wait. Soon, you'll hear struggling in the trap, so go look. Put these traps in small corners, or behind big furniture. Good luck finding your hamster!
