How long something takes to compost depends on the conditions of the compost pile. A hot turn compost pile can compost popcorn in about 20 days. A slower working compost will take about three months to compost them.

it depends on the portion of the food you eat. for example, if you had a large dinner which included chicken, rice, smashed potatoes, and bananas, it would take about 30-35 minutes to decompose. results may vary, however. its all in the matter of portions you consume.
