Mostly nitrogen, but also significant quantities of phosphorus and potassium. It also must have the full complement of secondary nutrients, calcium, magnesium, and sulfur. It also needs a proper balance of the micro-nutrients boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum, and zinc. It also requires carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen, but gets these from the air and water.
The most important part of all this is that all these elements must be in proper balance. The crop will only do as well as the most limiting nutrient. A farmer can apply a tremendous amount of nitrogen, but if there is not enough phosphorus available, the crop will still not yield well.
carrots need about 5 inches to grow
Certain species of corn need more water than others to grow well. The average corn plant needs several annual inches of rain to grown effectively.
Sunflowers need about 1 to 2 square feet of space to grow effectively.
Eggplants need about 2-3 feet of space between each plant to grow effectively.
Grapes need about 6-8 feet of space between each plant to grow effectively.
Watermelons need about 8 to 10 square feet of space to grow effectively.
Watermelons need a lot of space to grow effectively, typically requiring about 8 to 10 square feet per plant.
the farmer fertilizes the corn with his urine and makes the corn grow nice and yellow<--- who ever put that is very immature A farmer uses biology to grow corn because he has to know the wheather condition in which corn can grow and location. He has to study about corn to help it grow and survive and biology= study of living things
Hot and humid.
Corn snakes CAN grow to six feet long. As an adult - it would need a vivarium measuring at least 48 inches long by 18 inches deep and 24 inches high. My own corn snakes all have at LEAST that size vivarium (I own over 400 reptiles)
Corn needs well-drained soil that is fertile and rich in nutrients to grow properly. Typically, corn plants grow best in soil with a pH level between 6.0 and 6.8. It is recommended to provide at least 18 inches of soil for corn to develop a strong root system.
Space the kernels 9 to 12 inches apart in the row.
