Once a week :))))) i have experience
every other week
you should never clean your fish tank with washing -up liquid or eny thing like that only a sponge that is new and water
about half an hour to an hour
You should not have goldfish and platies in the same tank ever.
Well, first, your eggs should be in a separate tank from all the other fish, ok? Then, when you clean the tank with the goldfish eggs, I usually never clean out the water completely. I usually just dump out 25% of the water and replace it with clean water. I'm sure no harm to the goldfish eggs will be done if you do partial water changes, and partial water changes are all you ever will need. However, if you REALLY need to clean out the tank completely, usually goldfish lay their eggs on aquatic plants or objects. If you move the plant or the object to another little tank or a safe place while you clean out the tank, I'm sure there will be no problem. When your done, just replace the plant/object into the finished tank.
It is important to remember to put things in a goldfish tank, even goldfish get bored. Some of my suggestions for tank decor are artificial plants and a "hidey hole" for your goldfish.
No, shrimp and goldfish should not be kept together in the same tank as goldfish may eat the shrimp.
You should clean your hermit crab tank once a week to maintain a healthy environment for your pets.
No, cherry shrimp should not be kept with goldfish in the same tank as goldfish are known to eat shrimp.
You should do partial water changes of around 25% once a week. If nitrates are over 40 ppm you should increase the frequency of the water changes and/or the amount to get it down to safer levels.
Ghost shrimp are the best shrimp to add to a goldfish tank for optimal compatibility and health of the goldfish. They are peaceful and can help clean up leftover food and algae, benefiting the overall tank ecosystem.
they might get the "ICK" or they can get sick from there bowl or tank not being clean
