When you mix food coloring and water to make it blue, you create a solution. In this case, the food coloring dissolves completely in the water, resulting in a homogeneous mixture where the particles are evenly distributed at the molecular level. A suspension, on the other hand, would involve larger particles that do not dissolve and can settle out over time.
A Solution
It would be a solution because it dissolved in the water obviously turning it blue. water dissolves so many solutions that it is often called the "universal solvent." Taylor S. rules!!!!! 8th grade Mr. Werner class rules!!!!!!!
homogeneous mixture called solution
Blue food coloring goes into the water. The white rose takes up water in the stem and turns blue.
I think that the best way to make blue daisies is to put blue food coloring in water and then place the daisies (with stems) in the water. Let them sit and absorb the water and food coloring. If all goes to plan then you should have blue daisies!

You could add blue food coloring, or you can make the container holding the water blue.
A suspension is cloudy or will not allow light through, a solution is clear even though it can be colored. One way to test is to shine a light through the water mixture and see if it allows light to come through without breaking it up or dimming it. If it does it's a solution, if not its a suspension.
Itmus becomes blue in alkaline suspension or solution.

Dunk it in molten wax before you put it in the blue water.
